As an entrepreneur and mentor, I am extremely passionate about sharing the many skills, experiences and lessons I have learnt and gained on my entrepreneurial journey. I currently run 2 creative businesses, have written an eBook, have had my products sold out with a major online retailer as well as with boutiques in and around London. I have been featured in press and have had the pleasure of helping others on their startup journey. I started out on my business journey as a young adult and one thing I often say to myself is “I wish I had been able to start younger! I wish I knew what I know now, earlier on in life!”
In today’s world, it is extremely important to know how to how to be resourceful, creative, bold, think outside of the box, make lemons into lemonade and generate multiple streams of income! This is not only important for our personal lives, but also for the lives those around us. Children are being taught many valuable lessons in school, but are rarely taught about the benefits and fundamentals of turning an idea, hobby or passion into something that could have monetary gain and potentially go on to earning them a living, as well as providing opportunities for others and having great benefits to our economy. I have personally experienced this myself. You can read more about this here.
This course is great for boosting confidence, as well as preparing children and young people for the world of work and enterprise. Here are some of the things that the course encourages and promotes:
- Successful planning skills – with the help of our own planning strategy
- Use of mathematical skills through profit and loss calculation
- Boosting self-confidence through selling and promotion
- Creative and critical thinking
- Problem solving skills
- Boldness and initiative
- Dealing with rejection
- Resilience
- Resourcefulness!

I have been in the business of creative education for over a decade and for the past two years I have been teaching entrepreneurial workshops to children, young people and adults in schools and centres nationwide. We have had great feedback from children in years 5 & 6 who we have run a “Kidpreneurs’ Club”
for at primary schools, as well as young people aged 13 – 19 years old who we have facilitated workshops for. Many have found it insightful, interesting and motivating.
Throughout this course I draw on my own startup experiences as detailed in my 5 star-rated eBook “Starting From the Bottom Up” which can be found here
Students will also receive a free copy of the eBook with this course.
The course consists of lessons, quizzes, exercises and challenges, making for an interesting and insightful learning experience for students. It also promotes the importance of education and how it plays a vital role in our future choices and work life.
Parents sometimes ask if their child will gain a qualification with this course. In business, true qualification is self-qualification: the ability to put what you learn into practice and bring your ideas to life!

Rounding up with education appreciation and a quiz to see just how much you've learnt throughout the course!
hello, I;m interested in this for my 13 yr old son, but I feel I would need to see some of the materials first to check if it will be the kind of thing that holds his interest. he is home -educated cos his minds works in its own unique way. its hard to imagine if this will be up his street – tho the timing is just right as he has expressed an interest in making his own business. is there a way to get a sneak peak at the kind of thing it entails? x x
Hi Ambuka I sent you an email earlier – hopefully you received it 🙂 I have made some of the lessons available for preview
Hi, I’m interested for my 12 year old.
Is there a certificate of completion and how many hours does the course take Please?
Hi Gerry,
Yes, students will receive a certificate of completion with a motivational note upon completion of the course. The course contains over 15 hours of learning time, but how long spent on each section really depends on each child/young person. This 15 hours does not include tasks that students are assigned to do themselves, such as continued selling practice, business idea presentation/proposal etc.
Once enrolled, students will have up to 24 weeks to complete the course, so they can do it at their own pace
🙂
